Real Estate is a psychedelic surf pop band hailing from Ridgewood, New Jersey now rooted in Brooklyn, N.Y. Their first full length album was rated 8.5 and given the coveted title of Best New Music (BNM) by the influential indie music review website Pitchfork Media.

Biography
Real Estate have roots in the Garden State and they’re led by singer/guitarist Martin Courtney and feature guitarist Matthew Mondanile (the latter known to some for his work in Ducktails, Predator Vision, and The Parasails) as well as Alex Bleeker (of Alex Bleeker and the Freaks) on bass and Etienne Duguay (of Silver Futures, Predator Vision) on the drums.
They participated in the 2010 Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, playing on Saturday 29th May and Sunday 30th of May.
